Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site sets very few, and nothing that tracks you runs unless you say yes to it first.
Cookies that are strictly necessary
Like any WordPress site, ours may set a short-lived technical cookie to keep the pages working and to remember your cookie choice. These hold nothing about who you are and need no consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
Analytics, and only with your consent
The site can use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It is switched off by default. If analytics is ever configured, it loads only after you accept it in the cookie banner, and it sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* that last up to two years. Decline, and nothing loads.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
Maps
The area maps are drawn from OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading them sends your browser's IP address to the tile server, as any image request does, but the tiles set no cookies.
The enquiry form
The quote form is a third-party embed from our customer-relationship software provider. It may set a technical cookie so the form can be submitted. The privacy policy covers what happens to the details you type into it.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back. Browser settings also let you block or delete cookies altogether; the site still works without them.
